Last night, I’ve already committed to my weekend trip to my family by telling them that I’m going “someplace-not-really-there” and with “friends”. Hmm… I’m not really sure if they will approve of me traveling alone. Maybe after a few weekend trips, I’m going to tell them the truth but not now. It took me a good full year to finally find the courage to do this; I don’t want to spoil it with their worrying. They will probably suggest that, at least, I ask 1 friend to go with me or worse stop me from leaving. Ghad! It’s not that I’m traveling to some Asian country alone (I’m thinking of doing that before the year ends though). Good thing no one in my family is really following this blog yet – I think.

My biggest worry though is when something bad *knocks on wood* happens to me and no one knows where I am, I think it is necessary to tell a friend before I set off early, early morning on Saturday. Any volunteers? Keep the secret for me until I get back and you’ll be the only person I’ll bring home a pasalubong to. lmao

I’m glad it’s already Friday tomorrow. I’m kind of all set. I already borrowed Ate’s camera. I was supposed to buy my own digicam this week but I kind of fell short on cash, specially with this trip coming up. Sayang, I’ve already had a name for him – Buster, after the resident crash test dummy on Mythbusters (I love that show!). Oh well, hopefully I can get him soon – next week na sana.

The rays of the sun is majestically peeking through the thick clouds and a cargo boat silhouetted at the distance. It was taken on the afternoon of January 27, 2008, during the Sto. Nino parade at Roxas Ave. I used my SE K610i. No editing done on this one.
