Love, Sex, and Music
I hate it when a good music gets destroyed with its association of perverted sex. Couldn’t they just have someone compose a different theme song for their x-rated flicks? I mean if you have to use a song, go for something explicitly mentioning sex in its lyrics, or something without a story on it at all.
Just listen to the song The One You Love, hearing the intro melody would make one in the know comment, “wow! pang-romansa!” Although the song doesn’t really paint a pretty picture: about a girl choosing between the one she’s with and who loves her AND the one who who’ve hurt her before but she loves more than the one she’s with. Tragic, I know. But I hate it when such tragic parts of so-called love gets associated with sex. Is it really just all about love and sex?
Of course, Careless Whisper. I mean, fine, the song’s about cheating and the remorse of the cheater knowing his girl is really “not a fool” that some “careless whisper” of a good friend will lift the ignorance of his cheating on the girl. But really, really? I mean, come on! Leave out the music when you have to practice in scant clothing with your sex partner! You’re ruining the music!
+ And I just feel like pointlessly ranting abou that. Get it out of my system.
