Living Your Reality
Some random quotes that are speaking what’s running through my mind right now:
From the moment we are born, people tell us that the world is like this and like that, this way, that way. It is natural that – for a certain period of time – we end up believing what we are told. But we must soon push these ideas aside and discover our own way of living reality. – Carlos Castaneda
Sometimes we have to swim against the current because only dead fishes go with the flow. – forwarded text. (let me know who I can properly quote this from)
You shall not covet anything that belongs to your neighbor. – Exodus 20:17
Tsk. I wish I can explain everything I’m thinking concisely. I might visit this post again in the future and will wonder what was running through my head during this time.
Hmm… partly maybe I’m trying to rationalize the “craziness” of my traveling alone. Yes, puro ganun ang reaction ng mga kaibigan nung madiskubre nila ang ginawa ko: “Di ko kinakaya ang topak mo!” Pero kahit pano, it was a calculated risk. I had my hair cut boyishly short to at least give the impression of not being the kind of girl that pervs can easily mess with. And well, I’m planning to take up grappling and boxing again.
Basta, I’m trying to discover my own way of living reality and not try to covet what others have in their life because it looked better because they seem happy and contented. I want to be really happy again knowing that my own truth makes me happy and not because society and other people say that so-and-so reality could make me complete. Hmm… Do I make sense to you?
