I am feeling overly depressed because my bestest friend will be leaving the country in a few days. Not really just for vacation but for a career change. And, well, I just don’t feel like going out much as soon as she leaves.

She encourages me to do so. Seemingly saying “live your life!”

I just get a feeling that it’ll not be complete when she’s not in the Philippines. We do have our own different set of friends. No, we are not connected to the hip day in and day out. I just feel so empty knowing I will not be able to hang out with her every Saturday or just going to the mall after work or not going out of town with a few of our common friends. See, it’s hard to live my life if for almost 10 years I was living it with her by my side.

It’s so sad growing up but I know we can’t be pals with Peter Pan forever.

Just please go home often?
