Stalk Me!

Actually, it's friends only. But hey, why don't you ask? I might be tolerant of new stalkers. ;)\

Reinventing the Wheel

A friend popped me a project proposal. Interesting I say. I’ll just do my research.

Now I really should start organizing my everyday to do list. I just don’t know what to prioritize. Everything seems so exciting. :D

PS. And yeah, I’m on tumblr too. ;D Follow me.

Taking a Break

I’m currently going through codes so I could inject a fairly simple functionality. Rawr! With only 5 minutes traversing through different classes, xml, jsp, properties and what-have-you’s file makes my head spin!

The project is using DWR for adding ajax easily. I’ve always been facinated with ajax, I don’t really know why. I got to stop myself from not doing this assigned task and try to study how dwr works. Sorry, geek moment. Note to self: study dwr during one of my idle days.

RC Addiction on FB

I am feeling so competitive against my contacts on Facebook playing Restaurant City that I leave it open on a tab the whole time I’m here at the office, working. Good thing they’re *kinda* tolerant of non-work related surfing here. I think. Haha I’ll know the truth come evaluation day.

I renovated my restau because I’m sick of the white-pink, all cutesy colored that I designed it with. After fixing it up though, I checked out a few other restaurants on my street and found myself envious of the effort they’ve put through in designing their place. Aw. I think I’ll have to redo my design again. What say you?

Grr… gotta read up on how to rack up my points on RC now. What do my contacts do? Leave the game on the whole day? Booo!

ToC Hyperlinks in Open Office

With the monstrous amount of group paperwork we did back in college, I found myself gravitating towards the proper use of styles and formatting. Which proved to be very convenient and useful when it is required and it is time to generate the Table of Contents.

Back then the popular documentation application that we use was, of course, Microsoft Word. In the office place however, I was forced to be acquainted with Open Office Writer which does not necessarily mean a big adjustment from Word but it does have a few quirks here and there that takes me a number of days to figure out.

Changing Hibernate Mapping from XML to Annotations

It was because of my job interview last Friday that I’ve decided to start doing away with mapping my hibernate metadata on xml and go for Annotations instead. The interviewer suggested it and of course I’m easily convinced once I heard that “it make things easier.”
